Aug 13, 2017 · Check your grip and make sure you're not resting your thumb on the slide stop. That's a common issue, especially guns like the P30 where the slide stop is further o the rear. Not sure why they decided to do that on the P30, as it's not that way on the USP or p2000. On my P30 (full size), I was able to buy the slide stop of a P30S (safety model). Jun 21, 2023 · I carry a P30sk and a VPsk IWB ( not at the same time!). My other carry gun is a P365. The HKs are only marginally wider than the P365 but they feel noticeable bigger. My P365 and your 938 can easily pocket carried. The HK can’t. I’m the hand the HK feels more like a full size than a compact - which is a good thing. That gun came out in 1993 and was successful. H&K wanted to upgrade the ergonomics and other features of that gun. The immediate result was the P2000. After more requests for upgrades, the P30 family made its appearance around 2006.Just not for me or da/SA. You can get an HK45 with a decocker only, no safety. Or convert one that is da/sa with a safety lever to be decocker only. From my research, In order to remove the safety from the V3:da/sa it would have to be converted to the LEM/v1. And I’m not fond of the V1, I like the control of the V3.

The standard P30 has an approximately 3.9 inch barrel. The P30SK is a subcompact model with a shortened grip and 3.3 inch barrel. If you want something different go for the P30SK. The USPs are totally overbuilt and always will be.
