The Cancer Biology Graduate Program provides training for students interested in pursuing a research career in investigating the molecules, mechanisms, and pathways involved in the development of cancer. Research by faculty members and students is laying the foundation for tomorrow’s clinical advances. Curriculum. Cancer Biology graduate students must be registered in all quarters. Courses may be taken for Pass/Fail unless designated otherwise. All required courses MUST BE taken with a letter grade (except for CBIO 280, 299, and 399). If a student does not earn a grade of "B" or better in a required course, the course must be repeated.
